Bio:

Dr. Lee C. Jones was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.  He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School in 1985, from Morehouse College in 1989 and completed his M.A. and Ph.D. from Clark Atlanta University in 1998 and 2011, respectively.  Dr. Jones has been teaching undergraduate courses since 1998 at Western Governors University, Kennesaw State University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, Morris Brown College and Atlanta Metropolitan College. Dr. Jones teaches American Government, Electoral Politics, Urban Politics, Politics and Global Issues, State and Local politics, African American Political thought and Political and civil rights.  His research interests include African American political thought, African politics and American politics.  Dr. Jones is developing a manuscript on the ideology of teaching American government. Dr. Jones has been married for over 20 years and has a son and daughter.
